In early December, the Vietnamese CAAV agency (the leadership of the country’s civil aviation) gave permission to Aeroflot to fly between Vietnam and Russia. The approval concerns eight Airbus A330 and one Boeing B777 aircraft. In the future, applications for another 19 airliners will be considered.
The airline’s press service informs that flights to Ho Chi Minh City, as well as in the opposite direction, will be operated twice a week. Departure from the capital is Wednesday and Sunday, from Ho Chi Minh City – Thursday and Monday. The flight from Sheremetyevo to the Vietnamese metropolis will last almost ten hours, the return journey will take one hour longer.
